October 15, 2026: TD Aeroplan cardholders can register for 5x points on selected streaming and subscription spend through October 13, 2027, capped at $750 per person. Chexy is also offering an extra 1 Aeroplan mile per dollar on that card’s Chexy spend in the first year, up to $25,000. This $89 Platinum still has a 20,000-point welcome offer.
Uber One in Canada is $9.99 a month, but eligible TD cards and Wealthsimple milestone rewards can cover it at no cash cost. A limited first-year 20% off promo is also live, and you can pay with Uber Cash.
September 28, 2026: the Chase welcome offer is still $200 (20,000 Ultimate Rewards points after $500 in the first three months), plus $100 through Rakuten for new Chase customers or $50 for existing Chase customers. This $0-annual-fee card earns 5% through Chase Travel, 3% at restaurants and drugstores, and 1.5% on other purchases.
September 28, 2026: Citi Strata cards now allow only one welcome bonus in a lifetime, ending the old 48-month reapply window. Apply through Rakuten for an extra $150 cash back on top of 60,000 ThankYou Points after $4,000 in three months. This $95-annual-fee, no-foreign-fee card earns 10x through Citi Travel and 3x on air, hotels, dining, groceries, gas, and EV charging.
September 28, 2026: Rakuten is adding a $400 cash-back bonus on top of the card’s $250 welcome offer (25,000 points after $1,000 in 90 days). This no-annual-fee, no-foreign-fee Bank of America card still earns 1.5x on everyday net purchases and 3x through the Travel Center.
September 27, 2026: a stronger welcome offer of $120 after $1,500 in the first three months, plus a $75 partner bonus. This no-annual-fee Tangerine card also pays 2% cash back in two or three chosen categories, with a low application threshold.
The current welcome offer is 160,000 Membership Rewards points: 110,000 after $15,000 in three months, plus 50,000 for one purchase in months 15–17. The Canadian Business Platinum Charge Card also earns 1.25x everywhere, lounge access, and stacked business credits.
After the best-ever 110,000-point window, the welcome offer is 100,000 Marriott Bonvoy points: 70,000 after CAD 3,000 in three months, plus 30,000 after CAD 500 in month 13. Canada’s Amex hotel co-brand also includes a 35,000-point Annual Free Night Award.
Codeshare tickets went on sale September 23. As of September 25, 2026, Tangerine’s Rewards World Elite Mastercard has a best-ever welcome offer of 60,000 Scene+ points plus $120 cash back: 50,000 points after $5,000 in the first three months, and 10,000 more after $30,000 in the first year. The card also earns 1.5x in three categories and includes four annual DragonPass visits.
September 25, 2026: the Cobalt referral welcome is back at 25,000 Membership Rewards points if you apply by November 30 — 1,250 points after $750 each month in year one (15,000) plus 10,000 points after $2,500 in the first three months. The card still earns 5x on dining and grocery, 3x on select streaming, and useful travel insurance.
