Privacy Policy

This policy describes how PerkFox (https://perkfox.me) handles information when you visit the site or write to us. PerkFox is an independent English guide to credit cards, points, miles, travel rewards, and everyday perks wherever our readers and services are located.

Who we are

PerkFox is a static editorial site. We do not offer website user accounts, a newsletter, or a membership checkout. Most published articles allow comments at the end of the page; daily US-market recaps do not. If you want to reach us, email info AT perkfox.me.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account. The information we may have includes:

• Email you send us. If you write to the address listed above, we receive the address and message you include so we can reply.
• Article comments. On most published articles (not daily US-market recaps), your browser requests the separate Hong Kong comments service at comments.perkfox.me when the comments block enters or nears the viewport. Even if you do not post, that service may log IP address, browser data, and timestamps. If you submit a comment, we also receive the nickname, email address, and message. Email addresses are not shown to other readers. Posting uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam; Cloudflare may process technical data for that check. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Comment data is stored on that Hong Kong service, not in the Cloudflare static site.
• Hosting and delivery logs. The site is served through Cloudflare. Like most hosts and CDNs, Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps in order to deliver pages, keep the site secure, and diagnose problems. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or email-list tools, so we do not collect browsing profiles for those purposes.

How we use information

We use the information above only to:

• operate, secure, and improve the site;
• display, moderate, and reply to article comments, and to reduce spam;
• respond to questions, corrections, and other email you send; and
• comply with law if we are required to do so.

We do not sell your personal information.

Affiliate and referral links

Some articles include short links such as /refer/chasefreedom/. Those links send you to a bank, issuer, or other partner. If you apply for a product after using one of those links, we may earn a commission.

Clicking a referral link takes you off PerkFox. The destination site will have its own privacy policy, cookies, and terms. We do not control what those companies collect.

Cookies

PerkFox itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The comments widget may remember the nickname and email you typed so you can comment again. Cloudflare or a referral partner may set cookies or similar technologies when you load the site or follow an outbound link. You can control cookies in your browser.

Third-party sites

We link to issuers, loyalty programs, hotels, airlines, and other third-party websites. Those sites are not covered by this policy.

How long we keep information

Email is kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-up. Comments are kept for as long as they are shown with the article; you can email us to ask that comments tied to your address be removed. Hosting logs are retained according to Cloudflare’s practices and our need to operate the site.

Children

This site is written for adults comparing credit cards and travel rewards. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above. For a material change, we will also note it here.
