RSVP Rewards is a free hotel loyalty program covering Sandman, Sandman Signature, The Sutton Place Hotels, and related brands, managed by Northland Properties. RSVP Rewards is not about award-night sweet spots. The advantage is transparent rules, fixed value, and an easy program to understand. The core is simple:

  • Earn points on eligible direct bookings at participating hotels;
  • Use points as a credit on a future stay;
  • 1,000 points = $10 off; that works out to 1 point = $0.01 CAD.

Who is it for?

The hotels sit mainly in Canada, with some properties in the UK, Scotland, and the US. Three groups of people get the most out of it:

First, people who often travel for work or road trips through smaller Canadian cities. Sandman covers a surprising number of airports, suburbs, and connecting cities.

Bottom line

RSVP Rewards is a very Canada-local hotel program. It does not have complicated airline-mile tricks, and it does not have the big-chain award sweet spots, but it is simple, transparent, and easy to use.
