Loyalty Program
Langham’s frequent-traveller program is Brilliant by Langham. Unlike the earlier 1865 Club, which did not earn hotel points, this new program lets members earn and redeem points—a clear step forward.
Like most hotel and airline loyalty programs, Brilliant by Langham points split into base points and bonus points. Base points come from real spend and also count toward elite qualification.
Tiers and Benefits
Brilliant by Langham has five membership tiers:
| Tier | Points required |
|---|---|
| ONYX | None |
| TOPAZ | 12,000 |
| DIAMOND | 108,000 |
| SAPPHIRE | 360,000 |
| RUBY | 720,000 |

Earning Points
Spend at brands under the hotel group and earn 150 Brilliant points for every US$5.
Using Points
Redeem for stays
When you book through the official website, mobile app, or WeChat mini program, you can redeem points for stays with no blackout dates.
Convert to airline miles
You can find this option in your personal account; open it and you will see many partners. I have not found a full conversion-rate table yet—to be updated.
The site lists a few examples:
- 12,500 points = 500 Air China miles
- 12,500 points = 250 Cathay miles
- 12,500 points = 250 Singapore Airlines miles
Airline partners that can receive transferred miles expand on the earlier list of partners that only earned airline miles (when hotel points were not available), and add a few more:
