When this group was still called Club Carlson, award stays with a buy-one-get-one offer were generous. Paired with the cobranded card’s earning power, it was a solid travel option. HNA later bought the group, then sold it on to Jin Jiang Inns. Because of the Chinese ownership, the Americas portfolio was carved out and absorbed by Choice Hotels. Radisson hotels now sit in Asia, Europe, and Africa.
There are 10 brands.
Elite status
Radisson members sit in three tiers: Club, Premium, and VIP. VIP comes with real perks: complimentary breakfast for two, room upgrades, and lounge access.

Club is yours as soon as you join.
In 12 months, 5 nights or 3 stays get you Premium.
In 12 months, 30 nights or 20 stays get you VIP.

“Eligible Rate” means a rate identified in Radisson’s reservation system as eligible for points. Eligible Rate does not include, without limitation, the following: employee rates; friends and family rates; airline crew rates; travel agency employee rates; certain promotional and package rates; rates paid using a free night voucher and other complimentary or barter rooms; rates booked through an online travel company (only eligible for benefits), whether such rates are direct, auction or bid rates; rates booked and billed through a master account, including group accounts and tour operator accounts; and certain other rates booked through third parties. Eligibility may be determined by Radisson from time to time in its sole discretion.

The group’s loyalty program is simply called Radisson Rewards in English. The Chinese name is 丽赏会.

In your account you can turn Discount Booster on or off. You either earn more points or take a larger cash discount.

3.2 Using points
- Room-rate credits
Radisson points are now simple: they offset the room rate at a fixed rate, a little under 0.2 cpp USD.
When you book, a payment-options step lets you choose how many points to apply. About 1,000 points equals US$2.

Members can redeem 160,000 points to receive Priority Pass Standard Plus Membership. Members will receive 10 free visits with the yearly membership and after the 10th visit, each visit will cost USD 32.
