【September 5, 2026 update】 $150:
- Apply by November 30, 2026 and eligible Canadian gas-station, office-supply, and cellphone or internet-bill spend in the first three statement cycles earns 10%, up to $150, with at least $1,500 in eligible spend. Eligible merchants are identified by Mastercard MCC 5541, 5542, 5111, 5943, 4812, 4814, and 4816.
- After you reach $1,500 in eligible spend or the first three statement cycles end, whichever comes first, those categories return to 1.5%. The welcome bonus is for new accounts only, once per account. If you cancel within 120 days of opening, rewards earned in that period are cancelled.
- Eligible Canadian-dollar balance transfers posted in the first nine statement cycles after opening get a 0% annual rate, with a 3% fee. You cannot transfer from another BMO credit card, and balance transfers do not earn rewards.
Application requirement: no registered business and no minimum income requirement. You can apply as a sole proprietor, a one-owner or multi-owner corporation, a partnership, or an unincorporated association. The documents needed depend on the business type.

You can add up to 22 employee cards to the primary account, at $50 a year each. Employee spend can be managed on the same account.
- Employee-abuse coverage (Liability Waiver Program)
The program covers employee-card misuse, subject to the terms, limits, and exclusions of the BMO Business Credit Card Waiver of Liability Program.
- Merchant offers (Mastercard Easy Savings)
Eligible merchant purchases can automatically earn a 1%–25% rebate. The merchants and terms follow the current Mastercard Easy Savings list.

- Purchase Protection
Eligible business property or gifts must be paid in full on an account in good standing. Theft or damage worldwide within 90 days of purchase can be claimed; the insurer may repair, replace, or reimburse. This benefit shares a $60,000 lifetime maximum per account with extended warranty. Cash and documents, consumables, undelivered or unaccepted online purchases, used or refurbished goods, motor vehicles, and items left behind are among the exclusions. Notify Allianz immediately and submit receipts, statements, a police report, or a repair estimate as required.
- Extended Warranty
The full purchase price must be charged to the account, and the original manufacturer warranty must be valid in Canada. Coverage can add up to one extra year. Items with an original warranty longer than five years must be registered within one year of purchase. Settlement is the lower of repair or replacement cost and follows the original warranty terms (separately purchased extended warranties are excluded). It shares the $60,000 maximum with purchase protection.
