Alaska Airlines says it will launch an Atmos™ Rewards Debit Card in the first quarter of 2027. The airline already has an early-access list if you want the first updates on the new card.

Three main benefits

Alaska pitches the card as a way to turn everyday spending into travel:

  • Points on everyday spending. Purchases earn Atmos Rewards points you can put toward future trips.
  • Rewards on savings. Money sitting in the account can earn rewards too, which is meant to encourage saving.
  • A yearly flight discount. Cardholders get a flight discount each year, so the card keeps paying off beyond the points.

Early-access perk: a 20% flight discount code

Register for early access by October 31, 2026, and you get a 20% off code for eligible flights. The terms:

  • Travel dates: January 6 through March 10, 2027
  • Tickets must be purchased by December 7, 2026
  • You need a valid Atmos Rewards number, and each member account can claim the code once
  • Other restrictions apply; the full terms are on Alaska’s site

What you agree to when you register

  • Signing up means you agree to receive up to 3 emails and 2 app push notifications from Alaska Airlines about the debit card. These are marketing messages, and you can unsubscribe anytime in your Atmos Rewards account.
  • Alaska Airlines sends and manages all of those notices.
  • Joining the list is not opening an account, and it does not guarantee you will be approved for the card.

Who issues the card

Cross River Bank (an FDIC member) issues the card under a Visa license. Mezu (NA) Inc. (doing business as Alviere) manages the account. Funds sit at Cross River Bank and are FDIC-insured up to $250,000. Alviere itself is not an FDIC-insured bank. Fees and limits follow the Card Account Agreement.
