In short: new and existing clients can register now, set a $500 automatic transfer each month, have the first deposit post in December 2026 and the last one post in November 2027, and collect the full $600 cash back.
10% cash back for new and existing clients
On October 5, TD launched a new Easy Trade offer, “Set It and Get It”: set up a monthly automatic contribution and keep it going for 12 months, and TD pays 10% cash back on the amount you contribute, capped at $600. New and existing clients can both join. Existing clients can open the app, see the offer, and register:

This is also 10% cash back, but the cap is far below the earlier offer, which paid up to $2,500.
How to collect the full $600 this time
The core math: $500 a month × 12 months = $6,000 → 10% = $600 (the cap).
- Open an account: from October 5 through October 30, open a new eligible Easy Trade account. Existing clients who already have an eligible account can use that account.
- Register: by November 4, open Offers Hub in the TD Easy Trade app and tap the “Set It and Get It Offer” card. There is no promo code.
- Set up the automatic transfer: the first automatic deposit must post by December 31.
- Registered accounts (TFSA, RRSP, FHSA) use a Monthly Contribution Plan (MCP).
- A non-registered Cash account uses a Pre-Authorized Deposit (PAD) of at least $50 a month.
- Reach $500 a month: make the monthly contributions add up to $500. You can split them across accounts (for example $300 into a TFSA and $200 into an RRSP). Contributions from every account are added together. ⚠️ The $500 monthly cap is shared across all accounts. Amounts above that do not earn the reward.
- Keep it up for 12 months in a row: you can change the amount, but no month can fall below $50, or you may lose the reward for the months after that.
- Leave the money alone: withdrawals that stay within 10% of total contributions (up to $500) do not affect eligibility. Going over that can reduce or cancel the reward. The money needs to stay put through November 30, 2027.
When the $600 arrives
It posts in two batches, straight into your Easy Trade account. A reward paid into a registered account does not count as a contribution and does not use contribution room:
| Batch | Contributions it covers | When it posts | Maximum |
|---|---|---|---|
| First | October 5, 2026 – May 31, 2027 | By June 30, 2027 | $300 |
| Second | June 1, 2027 – November 30, 2027 | By December 31, 2027 | $300 |
The two windows are fixed calendar dates. They do not start on the day you begin contributing. Get the first transfer in as early as you can (posting by December 31 is a hard requirement) so you can use the full $500-a-month room in both windows.
When the reward posts, the account must still be open and in good standing. It cannot be in a debit balance. If more than one account is in the offer, the reward is split across those accounts in proportion to what each one contributed.
Key limits
- The $600 cap is per client, not per account. Opening more accounts does not raise it.
- The minimum to take part is $50 a month × 12 months = $600 contributed, which pays $60.
- You can contribute weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly. Two $25 deposits a half-month count, as long as the month totals at least $50.
- A PAD is an automatic deposit. A Pre-Authorized Debit, which pulls money out, does not count. For how to set up a PAD correctly, see the FAQ in the write-up of the 2025 offer.
- This offer is only for Easy Trade accounts.
This is a different promotion from the 3% Easy Cash Offer
The Easy Cash Offer pays you for a one-time transfer of assets from outside TD (3% on registered accounts, 1% on non-registered accounts; register by October 23, and the assets stay locked through the end of 2028). Set It and Get It pays you for a monthly contribution you keep making. The two offers work differently, and the rewards are calculated separately.
- ⚠️ The 3% offer is not a strong deal. This blog is not covering it.
