【September 16, 2026 update】 100,000 Avion points + first-year primary annual-fee waiver:
- Apply between August 25 and November 30, 2026 and get approved. You receive 25,000 points after approval
- Make a first purchase within the first three months for another 20,000 points
- Post $5,000 in qualifying net purchases within three months of account opening for another 20,000 points
- Post $15,000 within six months of account opening for another 35,000 points
- Awards usually post about 60 days after the matching condition, and the account must still be open and in good standing. Only the primary business cardholder qualifies; additional business owners, employee cardholders, current holders of any RBC business credit card, and anyone transferring from any RBC business card do not. The offer cannot be combined with other promotions, and RBC may change or withdraw it.
- Year one waives the primary annual fee only

Everyday spend
1.25x on all qualifying net purchases, on the first $75,000 in each annual period; 1x after that. The annual period follows statement months: existing cardholders from the January statement through the December statement; new cardholders from issue date through that year’s December statement, then it resets on the first day of the January statement. Cash advances, balance transfers, cash-like transactions, non-pre-authorized merchant bill payments, interest, and fees do not earn points; returns and account adjustments reduce or reverse the matching points.

- Employee points roll-up and personal combine (Roll Up / Combine Avion Points)
Avion points earned on employee cards and by the primary business cardholder can roll into one designated primary business cardholder’s Avion Rewards account. If the business account has more than one primary business cardholder, you still designate only one of them. That designated primary business cardholder can, when they meet the programme rules, combine the business points with points from their personal RBC Avion card.
- Visa Spend Clarity for Business
RBC offers Visa Spend Clarity for Business for custom reports and transaction data to help manage cash flow, plus transaction controls and limits for employee cards. Features and availability follow the Visa/RBC platform.
- Visa Airport Companion
You must enrol this card in the Visa Airport Companion app or website. The programme lists 1,300+ airport lounges plus some airport dining and spa offers. This card has no complimentary lounge visits; the cardholder and each guest pay $32 USD per person per visit (prices can change). Membership renews automatically each anniversary and can be paused if the account is not in good standing.
- Visa Infinite Collection, Visa Luxury Hotel Collection, and concierge
You can use Visa Infinite Collection experiences, hotel, and dining perks; Luxury Hotel Collection benefits follow the terms at booking. Visa Infinite Business Concierge itself has no extra service fee, but goods, services, and related costs the concierge books are charged to this card.
- Petro-Canada Linked Rewards
After you link the card to Petro-Points in RBC Online Banking for Business, retail Petro-Canada purchases of any grade of gasoline or diesel save 3¢ a litre immediately. Qualifying spend can also earn 20% more Petro-Points and Avion points. Linking and posting take time; the linked-programme terms apply.
- DoorDash DashPass
Add this card in DoorDash and complete activation for 12 months of complimentary DashPass; eligible restaurant orders of $15 before tax get $0 delivery. After the free period it converts to a paid membership at the then-current price. Markets, terms, and benefits can change.
- RBC Offers and Card Lock
Eligible accounts can get merchant rewards or extra Avion points in RBC Offers; eligibility and campaigns vary. If a card is lost or you do not need it for a while, you can lock it temporarily in the RBC Mobile app; you still need to report a lost or stolen card to RBC.

- Emergency Medical Insurance
Eligible Canadian permanent residents, their spouse, and children travelling outside their Canadian province/territory of residence are covered for up to 15 days per trip if under 65, or up to 3 days if 65 or older; top-up coverage can be bought under the certificate rules. Eligible emergency medical expenses have no listed overall dollar cap, but pre-existing conditions must meet the stability period (usually 90 days under 75, and 180 days at 75 or older). Call the insurer first in a medical emergency; if you do not, you pay 20% of the first $25,000 of eligible expenses.
- Travel Accident Insurance
After you pay the full common-carrier fare with this card and/or Avion points, accidental death or a certificate-defined disability can pay up to $500,000. If Avion points cover only part of the fare, the rest must be charged in full to this card.
- Auto Rental Collision/Loss Damage Waiver Insurance
Reserve with this card, present this card at the counter and sign the rental agreement, pay the rental, taxes, and fees in full with this card and/or Avion points, and decline the rental company’s CDW/LDW. The rental cannot exceed 48 consecutive days. Vehicles with an MSRP (excluding tax) above $65,000 and pickup trucks are not eligible. This coverage does not include third-party liability or liability for bodily injury or property damage.
- Trip Cancellation Insurance
After you pay qualifying prepaid travel arrangements with this card and/or Avion points, a sudden, unforeseeable reason listed in the certificate that cancels the trip before departure can reimburse the non-refundable portion. Maximum $1,500 per covered person per trip and $5,000 combined for all covered persons. Pre-existing conditions and other exclusions apply. Cancel immediately after the event, no later than the next business day, and notify the insurer.
- Trip Interruption Insurance
Under the same payment and covered-reason framework, an interruption or delay can reimburse unused non-refundable prepaid arrangements and eligible economy transportation. Maximum $5,000 per covered person per trip and $25,000 combined for all covered persons. This is excess insurance; other recoverable sources must be used first.
- Delayed Baggage Insurance
After you pay the airline ticket in full with this card and/or Avion points and check baggage, if it has not arrived four hours after you reach the destination you can be reimbursed for necessary clothing and toiletries. Maximum $500 per covered person per occurrence and $2,500 combined for all covered persons. You need an airline delay or loss report.
- Flight Delay Insurance
After you pay the airline ticket in full with this card and/or Avion points, a missed connection, delayed departure, or denied boarding with no alternate transportation from the airline can reimburse reasonable necessary expenses after four hours. Maximum $250 per covered person per day and $500 combined for all covered persons per occurrence.
- Hotel/Motel Burglary Insurance
After you pay a hotel, motel, or cruise cabin with this card and/or Avion points, registered guests can be reimbursed for personal-property loss or damage from a burglary with visible forced entry between check-in and checkout, up to $2,500 combined per occurrence. Cash and traveller’s cheques are not covered. Claims need a police report and other documents listed in the certificate.
- Lost or Stolen Baggage Insurance
After you pay the airline ticket in full with this card and/or Avion points, baggage lost, stolen, or damaged in transit can be covered. Maximum $1,000 combined for all covered persons per occurrence; jewellery and golf clubs are capped at $500 each. Cash and similar items are not covered. Report to the airline or carrier and provide the required documents.
Shopping insurance
- Purchase Security Insurance
Eligible business-use items paid in full with this card and/or Avion points are covered for 90 days from purchase against loss or accidental physical damage. Maximum $50,000 per account per calendar year. This is excess insurance; other insurance or recovery must be exhausted first.
- Extended Warranty Insurance
The same full-payment rule applies. After the original manufacturer warranty ends, coverage doubles it by up to one extra year; original plus extended coverage cannot exceed five years. The original warranty must be valid in Canada. Consumables, gift cards, vehicles, items already damaged on delivery, and lifetime-warranty items are among those that do not qualify.
- Mobile Device Insurance
A qualifying new business-use phone or tablet paid in full with this card and/or Avion points (if points cover only part, the rest must be charged to the card) is covered from day 91 through two years. If the device has a monthly wireless plan, those monthly fees must stay on this card. Maximum $2,000 per claim, with 2% depreciation per completed month and a 10% deductible on the depreciated value; at most two claims per 12 months and four per 48 months. Report a loss to the provider within 48 hours, and a theft to police the same day.
