  • Spend USD 30,000 during the first six months. Chase says to allow six to eight weeks after qualifying for the points to post; the account must remain open and not in default when the bonus is issued.
  • Balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like transactions including travellers cheques, foreign currency, money orders, wires and cryptocurrency, gambling, person-to-person or account-funding transactions, cheques accessing the account, interest, fees and unauthorized or fraudulent transactions do not count. Returns and refunds reduce qualifying purchases.

Everyday earning

8x: Travel purchased through Chase Travel, including The Edit. Reserve Travel Designers bookings earn 8x only when booked directly through Chase Travel. Purchases through FROSCH by Chase Travel, Valerie Wilson Travel by Chase Travel or Frosch International Travel do not qualify.

5x: Eligible Lyft products and services. Purchases through the Lyft mobile app earn 5x through September 30, 2027. Gift cards, car rentals, vehicle service centres, miscellaneous fees and certain other Lyft products are excluded.

4x: Flights and hotels booked directly with the airline or hotel. When a booking is arranged through Reserve Travel Designers, FROSCH by Chase Travel, Valerie Wilson Travel by Chase Travel or Frosch International Travel, it earns 4x only when the booking is made directly with the airline or hotel.

3x: Social-media and search-engine advertising. The merchant category must be recognized by Chase.

1x: Other eligible purchases. Purchases receiving the USD 300 Annual Travel Credit or USD 500 The Edit hotel credit do not earn points. Cash advances, cash-like transactions, gambling, person-to-person or account-funding transactions, cheques, interest and fees also do not earn points.

Benefits and insurance

  • Annual Travel Credit

    Each account anniversary year, receive up to USD 300 in automatic credits for travel-category purchases. The year runs from account opening through the first statement date after the anniversary, then for each following 12-billing-cycle period. Credited purchases do not earn points. Chase may reverse the statement credit after a return, cancellation or modification, or if the account is closed within 90 days of receiving the credit.

  • Select Chase Travel Hotels Credit and The Edit Credit

    From January 1 through December 31, 2026, receive up to USD 250 in statement credits for qualifying prepaid, Pay Now stays of at least two nights booked through Chase Travel at named IHG, Montage, Pendry, Omni, Virgin, Minor and Pan Pacific hotels. Employee Cardmembers are not eligible. There is also an annual The Edit by Chase Travel credit of up to USD 500, capped at USD 250 per transaction, for qualifying prepaid Pay Now stays of at least two nights. Credited purchases under both benefits do not earn points.

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge Network and Priority Pass Select

    The authorizing officer can access Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club and participating Priority Pass Select lounges, with up to two guests per visit. Additional Priority Pass guests cost USD 27 per person per visit, and capacity may limit entry. Chase also lists selected Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Cafés when travelling with a same-day departing Star Alliance boarding pass; one guest is allowed. Employee Cardmembers do not receive these benefits but may enter as the primary Cardmember’s guest.

  • Business and Partner Credits

    Receive up to USD 200 per year in statement credits on purchases made directly with Google Workspace and up to USD 400 per year on purchases made directly with ZipRecruiter. Through September 30, 2027, receive up to USD 10 per month in Lyft in-app credit. After activating DashPass, receive up to USD 25 per month through December 31, 2027 (USD 5 for restaurants and two USD 10 grocery/retail promotions). There is also up to USD 100 per year in statement credits for gift cards from Chase’s curated collection. Each benefit has Chase’s own merchant, activation and spending conditions.

  • Global Entry / TSA PreCheck® / NEXUS Application Fee Credit

    Receive one statement credit of up to USD 120 every four years after the first eligible application fee charged to the primary or an employee Card.

  • Employee Cards and Flex for Business

    Employee Cards have no additional fee and can have individual spending limits. The authorizing officer and business remain responsible for all use and repayment. This is a Pay in Full Card, but Chase may assign part of the Credit Access Line to Flex for Business, allowing purchases within that portion to be repaid over time with interest. Paying the full statement New Balance by the due date can avoid interest on new Flex for Business purchases. The current variable Flex for Business APR is 17.74%–28.49%.

  • Auto Rental Coverage

    Pay the full rental with this Card or eligible rewards and decline the rental company’s CDW/LDW. Worldwide theft and collision coverage is up to USD 75,000. Business rentals in the U.S. are primary; personal U.S. rentals are generally secondary unless no other insurance exists; outside the U.S., coverage is primary where available. Rentals may last no more than 31 consecutive days. Antique cars, some vans, motorcycles, rentals with a driver, recreational vehicles and large passenger vehicles are among the exclusions. Report an accident or theft within 100 days and submit documents within 365 days.

  • Baggage Delay Insurance

    After paying all or part of the common-carrier fare with the Card or rewards, checked baggage delayed or misdirected for more than six hours can qualify for essential items. Coverage is up to USD 100 per day for five days and is secondary. Report the problem to the carrier before leaving the airport or station, submit a claim within 20 days and provide documents within 90 days.

  • Emergency Evacuation and Transportation

    On a covered prepaid trip paid partly or fully with the Card or rewards, lasting five to 60 days and taking you more than 100 miles from home, serious illness or injury may qualify for emergency medical evacuation or transportation up to USD 100,000 when authorized and arranged in advance by the designated service provider. Repatriation of remains to the country of primary residence is covered up to USD 15,000. First-responder services, unapproved arrangements, non-medically necessary evacuation, trips shorter than five or longer than 60 days, medical-treatment trips and listed locations or causes are excluded.

  • Emergency Medical and Dental

    After paying all or part of the common-carrier fare with the Card or rewards, emergency treatment for sudden illness or accidental injury during a covered trip is covered up to USD 2,500 per covered traveller per trip after a USD 50 deductible. If a physician requires hotel recovery after hospitalization, a further USD 75 per day for up to five days may apply. This is secondary coverage. Report within 90 days and submit documents within 180 days. Non-emergency treatment, medical tourism, routine examinations, dental care, expenses paid by another source and listed high-risk or location conditions are excluded.

  • Lost Luggage Reimbursement

    After paying all or part of the common-carrier fare with the Card or rewards, secondary reimbursement can cover the gap after the carrier’s payment. The limit is USD 3,000 per covered traveller per trip, with USD 500 sublimits for jewellery/watches and cameras/other electronics. New York has separate limits of USD 2,000 per bag and USD 10,000 for all covered travellers per trip. Report the loss, damage or theft within the carrier’s deadline; claims are due within 20 days and documents within 90 days.

  • Travel Accident Insurance

    After paying all or part of the common-carrier fare with the Card or rewards, accidental death or qualifying loss of limb, sight, hearing or speech can be covered. Common-carrier travel accident coverage is up to USD 1,000,000 per person and 24-hour travel accident coverage is up to USD 100,000; only the larger applicable amount is paid for one accident. Trips are generally covered for up to 30 days. Claim within 20 days and submit documents within 90 days. Illness, pregnancy, illegal activity, self-harm, professional sports and war are among the exclusions.

  • Travel and Emergency Assistance

    Travellers can access 24/7 medical, legal, emergency-message, emergency-transport, lost-ticket or baggage, translation, prescription and pre-trip referral assistance. This is an assistance service, not reimbursement insurance; the traveller pays for actual medical, legal, transportation, cash-advance, medication and other goods or services.

  • Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance

    After paying all or part of prepaid trip costs with the Card or rewards, non-refundable expenses may be covered when a listed reason occurs, including death, illness or accidental injury of a covered traveller or companion, certain severe weather or named-storm warnings, military orders, jury duty or subpoena and qualifying home damage. The limit is the lowest of the amount paid or redeemed, USD 10,000 per covered traveller, USD 20,000 per trip or USD 40,000 per account in 12 months. The maximum trip length is 60 days and coverage is secondary. Voluntary changes, defined pre-existing conditions, pandemic or border-closure cancellations, supplier insolvency and events occurring before booking are excluded. Report within 20 days and submit documents within 90 days.

  • Trip Delay Reimbursement

    After paying all or part of the common-carrier fare with the Card or rewards, a delay of more than six hours or requiring an overnight stay because of equipment failure, bad weather, a strike or hijacking can qualify for reasonable meals, accommodation, toiletries and medication. The limit is USD 500 per covered traveller per trip and coverage is secondary. Report within 60 days and submit documents within 100 days.

  • Roadside Assistance

    In the U.S. and Canada, arrange roadside assistance 24/7 without membership or pre-enrolment. Each service event is covered up to USD 50, with up to four events per year and no repeat of the same service type within seven consecutive days. Services can include towing, tyre changes, battery assistance, EV towing to the nearest charging station, lockout help, up to two gallons of fuel and standard winching. The vehicle must be a light-duty vehicle of no more than 10,000 pounds; this is a service, not insurance.

Purchase insurance

  • Cell Phone Protection

    Pay the entire monthly cellular-service bill with the Card. An eligible phone listed on that bill can be covered for damage, theft or involuntary accidental loss. The benefit is the lower of repair cost or current replacement value, less a USD 100 deductible, up to USD 1,000 per claim. Up to three claims can be paid in 12 months, and coverage is secondary. Claim within 60 days and submit documents within 90 days; criminal theft requires a police report within 48 hours. Mechanical or battery failure, unexplained loss, cosmetic damage, damage that does not affect function, rented or prepaid-plan phones and accessories are excluded.

  • Purchase Protection

    An eligible new item paid partly or fully with the Card or rewards is covered for theft, damage or involuntary accidental parting for 120 days after purchase, or 90 days for New York residents. The limit is USD 10,000 per item and USD 50,000 per account. Coverage is secondary, so other insurance or recovery sources must be used first. Used or resale items, software, motor vehicles and accessories, plants and animals, antiques and collectibles, cash and tickets, items in a common carrier’s care during shipment, normal wear, inherent defects and mysterious disappearance are excluded. Report within 90 days and submit documents within 120 days.

  • Return Protection

    If a retailer will not accept a return, an eligible item can qualify within 90 days of purchase. Pay the entire item cost with the Card or rewards. The limit is USD 500 per item and USD 1,000 per account per 12 months, excluding shipping, handling and taxes; coverage is secondary. Report within 90 days and submit documents within 60 days of the claim. Chase may require the item to be returned at the Cardmember’s expense. Purchases outside the U.S., resale items, software, motor vehicles, jewellery, art and collectibles, medical equipment, consumables and other listed categories are excluded.

  • Extended Warranty Protection

    When an eligible item is paid partly or fully with the Card or rewards and has a valid U.S. manufacturer’s repair warranty, a manufacturer warranty or combined manufacturer, store and purchased-service coverage of three years or less can be extended by one year, up to four years total. The limit is USD 10,000 per item and USD 50,000 per calendar year, based on the lower of repair cost, replacement cost or the amount charged or redeemed. Cars, boats, aircraft and other motor vehicles and accessories, resale or rental goods, software, medical equipment and used goods are excluded.
