Everyday Spending
6x: Eligible purchases at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy. This is the earn rate from the card itself; hotel points from Marriott Bonvoy membership and Gold Elite status are calculated separately under Marriott’s program terms.
4x: The first $15,000 each year in combined grocery-store and restaurant spending (including takeout and eligible delivery). After that cap, those purchases earn 2x. The annual period runs from account opening through the first December statement cycle date, then by each December statement cycle thereafter.
2x: All other eligible purchases. Refunds are deducted from purchases. Balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like transactions, gambling, interest, and fees do not earn points.
Benefits & Insurance
- 1,000 bonus points per eligible stay (1K Stay Bonus)
Complete an eligible stay at a hotel participating in Marriott Bonvoy and earn up to 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points per stay. The stay must be at least one night at the same hotel on a directly booked qualifying rate paid with this card. Third-party online travel agency and tour-package bookings do not qualify, and only one room per hotel counts.
- Annual Free Night Award (Free Night Award)
After $15,000 in purchases each calendar year, receive one Free Night Award for a one-night stay at up to the 50,000-point redemption level. The award usually posts automatically within up to 12 weeks after you qualify, is valid for 12 months, and cannot be transferred, extended, or redeemed back for points. Resort fees, parking, and other incidentals remain the cardmember’s responsibility.
- 15 Elite Night Credits each year (15 Elite Night Credits)
The primary cardmember receives 15 Elite Night Credits each year when the account is open, not in default, and linked to an active Marriott Bonvoy account. Across eligible personal Marriott cards tied to the same member account, only the highest annual personal-card Elite Night Credit benefit applies; eligible business-card annual night credits may be earned separately.
- Automatic Gold Elite status (Automatic Gold Elite Status)
Cardmembers receive Gold Elite status automatically each calendar year. The first grant after account opening can take up to 8 weeks. To keep status granted by the card, the account must remain open and not in default.
- 12 months of complimentary DashPass (Complimentary DashPass)
From February 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027, activate DashPass for the first time with this card on DoorDash or Caviar and receive 12 months of complimentary membership. Activation requires a U.S. address, and this card must be set as the default payment method and used for eligible orders. After the free period, membership auto-renews at the then-current monthly price unless cancelled.
- $10 off DoorDash non-restaurant orders each quarter ($10 Off Quarterly on DoorDash Non-Restaurant Orders)
After DashPass is activated, each calendar quarter you can apply a $10 subtotal discount to one eligible DoorDash non-restaurant order, limited to once per person per quarter through December 31, 2027. Unused amounts expire and do not roll over. Taxes, service fees, tips, gift cards, and alcohol in some states do not qualify, and checkout must use the same card that activated DashPass.
