6x: Eligible purchases at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy. This is the card earn rate only; Marriott Bonvoy membership and Silver Elite Status may earn separate points from Marriott that do not count toward this card’s 6x.
3x: Combined grocery-store, gas-station, and dining purchases (including eligible takeout and delivery) on the first $6,000 each year; after the cap, those purchases earn 2x. The year runs from account opening through the first December statement-cycle date, then resets every 12 statement cycles.
2x: Other eligible purchases, plus the categories above once they exceed the annual $6,000 cap. Balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like transactions, gambling, cheques, interest, fraudulent transactions, and fees of any kind (including the annual fee) do not earn points.
Benefits & Insurance
- Airline purchase statement credits (Up to $100 Airline Credits)
This is a limited-time cardmember offer, not a long-term fixed benefit. New cardmembers who apply between June 4, 2026 and December 31, 2026 are enrolled automatically after card activation: spend $250 directly with airlines by December 31, 2026 for a $50 statement credit; spend another $250 directly with airlines between January 1, 2027 and June 30, 2027 for a second $50, for up to $100 total. The account must remain open and not in default; delayed posting can cost eligibility, and credits usually post in 6–8 weeks.
- Anniversary Free Night Award
Within about eight weeks after each account anniversary, one Free Night Award for a one-night stay at a hotel with a redemption level of up to 35,000 points is deposited automatically. Each award expires 12 months after issuance and cannot be transferred, extended, or converted back to points; it may be combined with Marriott Bonvoy points under program terms, but not with cash. Incidentals, parking, and mandatory resort fees remain the cardmember’s responsibility. The account must be open and not in default on the anniversary date.
- Automatic Silver Elite Status
Cardmembers receive Silver Elite Status automatically each calendar year. First status usually posts to the Marriott Bonvoy account within about eight weeks of opening; the account must remain open and not in default. Each Marriott Bonvoy member may receive this Silver Elite benefit from only one eligible consumer Marriott Bonvoy credit card.
- 15 Elite Night Credits each year
Within 60 days of account opening and again each year on or before March 1, the primary cardmember’s linked Marriott Bonvoy account receives 15 Elite Night Credits. Each member may earn consumer-card annual Elite Night Credits from only one eligible consumer Marriott Bonvoy card per year; if you also hold an eligible business card, you may earn a separate set of business-card annual Elite Night Credits. At posting, the credit-card account must be open and the Marriott Bonvoy account must be active and linked.
- 1 Elite Night Credit for every $5,000 spent
Every $5,000 in eligible purchases earns 1 Elite Night Credit; the issuer site does not state a cap on this earn. Credits usually post within about eight weeks after you hit each threshold each month. Refunds, balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like transactions, gambling, cheques, interest, fraudulent transactions, and fees do not count. The account must be open and not in default when the spend is processed and the credit is issued.
- Path to Gold Elite Status
Complete $35,000 in eligible purchases in a calendar year for Gold Elite Status. Progress resets each January 1, and status usually posts within about eight weeks after you qualify. Refunds and non-eligible transactions listed by Chase do not count. The account must remain open and not in default to keep the status.
- Complimentary DashPass for 12 months
First activation of this card between February 1, 2025 and December 31, 2027 earns 12 months of complimentary DashPass on DoorDash and Caviar for the same period. After that, membership renews automatically at the then-current monthly rate unless you cancel. You must activate with a U.S. address, set this card as the default payment method on DoorDash or Caviar, and complete an eligible order with this card. Third-party payment accounts, digital wallets, and memberships bought through third parties do not qualify.
- $10 off quarterly on DoorDash non-restaurant orders
After you activate DashPass with this card, each calendar quarter you can use one $10 discount on a qualifying DoorDash non-restaurant order; it applies only to the subtotal, not tax, tip, or other fees. Unused discounts expire at quarter end, do not roll over, and are not refunded. Gift cards are excluded, and alcohol may be excluded in some areas. Pay with the same Boundless card that activated DashPass; U.S. use only.
- Visa Signature Concierge Service
Visa Signature Concierge can help with event tickets, restaurant reservations, gift arrangements, and similar requests; you pay for any goods or services purchased through the concierge.

Each service is billed at a pre-negotiated rate and can include up to five miles of standard towing, tire change, jump start or EV tow to the nearest charging station, lockout service, up to five gallons of emergency fuel delivery (fuel cost not included), and standard winching within 100 feet of a paved road. Towing beyond five miles and other out-of-scope services are billed to you. Coverage is limited to light vehicles of 10,000 pounds or less.
- Travel and Emergency Assistance
This is coordination and referral assistance, not insurance. It can help with medical and legal referrals, emergency transport arrangements, lost ticket and baggage help, translation, prescription and document delivery, and pre-trip information. Medical, legal, transport, and other actual service costs remain the traveller’s responsibility. Service may be unavailable in countries or regions under U.S. State Department travel warnings, OFAC sanctions, or with inadequate infrastructure.
Travel-related insurance
- Auto Rental Coverage
When the primary renter initiates and pays the entire rental with this card and/or redeemable rewards and declines the rental company’s CDW/LDW, collision or theft losses are covered worldwide up to $60,000, including substantiated loss of use, administrative fees, and reasonable towing. Continuous rentals are covered for up to 31 days. Inside the United States, coverage is generally secondary and becomes primary only when no other insurance applies; outside the United States, it is generally primary, or secondary if local law or the rental company does not allow you to decline CDW/LDW. Bodily injury, third-party liability, personal belongings, vehicles with a suggested retail price over $125,000, certain specialty vehicles, car sharing, and rentals longer than 31 days are excluded. Report an accident or theft within 100 days and submit documents within 365 days.
- Baggage Delay Insurance
When this card and/or redeemable rewards pay all or part of a common-carrier fare and checked baggage is delayed or misdirected by the carrier for more than six hours, you can be reimbursed for essential personal items—up to $100 per day for up to five days—as secondary coverage. Report the delay to the carrier first. Hearing aids, jewelry and watches, cameras and other electronics, business samples, and recreational equipment are among the exclusions. File the claim within 20 days of the delay and submit required documents within 90 days.
- Lost Luggage Reimbursement
When this card and/or redeemable rewards pay all or part of a common-carrier fare and checked or carry-on baggage—or personal items inside it—is lost, damaged, or stolen while in the carrier’s care or during the trip, you can be reimbursed for the difference between actual cash value (replacement cost less depreciation) and any carrier payment. Coverage is up to $3,000 per traveler per trip, with sublimits of $500 combined for jewelry and watches and $500 combined for cameras and other electronics. New York residents are also subject to a $2,000-per-bag limit and a $10,000 aggregate for all travelers on the same trip. Coverage is secondary; report to the carrier first, then file within 20 days and submit documents within 90 days.
- Travel Accident Insurance
When this card and/or redeemable rewards pay all or part of a common-carrier fare, covered travelers may receive a benefit for accidental death or loss of limb, sight, speech, or hearing from a travel accident. The limit is up to $100,000 for 24-hour travel accident coverage and up to $500,000 for common-carrier travel accident coverage; only the higher applicable limit pays for one loss. The loss must occur within one year of the accident, and 24-hour coverage generally applies to trips of up to 30 days. Illness, pregnancy, illegal acts, professional sports, self-harm, and war are material exclusions. Report within 20 days of the accident or loss and submit documents within 90 days.
- Trip Delay Reimbursement
When this card and/or redeemable rewards pay all or part of a common-carrier fare and a covered delay lasts more than 12 hours or requires an overnight stay because of equipment failure, severe weather, strike, or hijacking, you can be reimbursed for reasonable extra meals, lodging, toiletries, and medication—up to $500 per covered traveler per trip—as secondary coverage. File within 60 days of the delay and submit required documents within 100 days.
Shopping-related insurance
- Extended Warranty Protection
When this card and/or redeemable rewards pay all or part of an eligible item that carries a valid original U.S. repair warranty, coverage extends one additional year after the manufacturer, store, and any purchased service-contract warranties end. Original or combined warranties longer than three years do not qualify, and total coverage from the purchase date cannot exceed four years. Benefits are the lesser of repair cost, like-kind replacement, the amount charged to the card or paid with rewards, $10,000 per item, or $50,000 per account. Only defects covered by the original warranty are covered. Motor vehicles, boats, aircraft, resale or commercial use, leased goods, software, medical equipment, and used items are among the exclusions. Report a product failure within 90 days and submit documents within 120 days.
- Purchase Protection
When this card and/or redeemable rewards pay all or part of an eligible item that is stolen, damaged, or involuntarily parted with within 120 days of purchase (90 days for New York residents), benefits are the lesser of repair cost, like-kind replacement, the amount charged to the card or paid with rewards, $500 per item, or $50,000 per account. Coverage is secondary and can fill gaps left by other valid insurance, including deductibles. Animals and plants, antiques and collectibles, motor vehicles, software, resale goods, mysterious disappearance without evidence, items in a carrier’s care or in checked baggage, cash/tickets, perishables, and used goods are among the exclusions. Report the loss within 90 days and submit documents within 120 days; some incidents may require an incident report within 48 hours.
