  • Purchase Protection

Eligible personal items or gifts paid in full with this card can be claimed for theft or accidental damage worldwide within 90 days of purchase; the insurer may repair, replace, or reimburse. This benefit shares a $60,000 lifetime maximum per account with extended warranty. Business goods, used or refurbished items, listed motor vehicles, and lifetime-warranty items are among the exclusions.

  • Extended Warranty

The original manufacturer warranty must be valid in Canada, and the full purchase price must be charged to this card. Coverage can add up to one year after the original warranty ends. Items with an original warranty longer than five years must be registered within one year of purchase. It shares the $60,000 lifetime maximum with purchase protection. Report a claim immediately; written notice is due within 30 days and proof within 90 days.
