Benefits and insurance
- Capital One Travel Stays credit

- Lifestyle Collection stay benefits
Each eligible Lifestyle Collection hotel or vacation-rental stay includes an experience credit of up to $50. The hotel applies its experience credit to eligible charges at checkout. The vacation-rental host provides its experience credit when the experience is booked, and some properties issue it as a gift card. You have to book through Capital One Travel, and an eligible cardholder has to book with their own account and be on the trip. The actual experience, availability, minimum stay, and other benefits follow the property’s or host’s terms.
- Capital One Travel booking tools
The site describes price prediction, Price Drop Protection, the Price Match Guarantee, and Price Watch. It says flight bookings save 15% on average through price prediction and booking suggestions. The actual savings, whether a service is available, which bookings qualify, and any fees follow Capital One Travel’s terms.
- Global Entry / TSA PreCheck credit
Each account can receive one statement credit every 4 years for a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee, up to $120. You have to pay the first eligible application fee directly with this card. The credit usually posts within two billing cycles. The account has to be open and in good standing when the credit is issued.
- Hertz Gold+ status upgrade
Eligible cardholders can sign in on the Capital One website or app and enroll through the dedicated link in the Benefits tab. The offer can change, and it is subject to Hertz Gold terms and rental eligibility rules.

When the entire eligible common-carrier fare is paid with this card, the cardholder, spouse or partner, and eligible dependent children are covered automatically while riding, entering, or leaving a licensed common carrier. If a covered reason cancels or interrupts the trip, and the entire eligible common-carrier fare was paid with this card, coverage is the actual nonrefundable common-carrier fare or $1,500, whichever is less. Exclusions apply, including illness, pre-existing conditions, and financial or personal arrangements, along with other limits.
- Lost or Damaged Luggage
The entire eligible common-carrier fare has to be paid with this card and/or accumulated points. The guide lists worldwide coverage of up to $1,500 per incident, with a maximum of 2 claims every 12 months.
