- Get a $300 Capital One Business Travel credit each cardmember year, plus 10,000 miles annually starting on your first account anniversary.

Who it suits: Business owners with substantial everyday spending who travel often and are happy to book through Capital One Business Travel. Whether the $395 annual fee makes sense depends on how much you use the annual $300 portal credit and lounge access. If you rarely travel or prefer to book everything directly with airlines and hotels, these benefits will be harder to use fully.
Issuer: Capital One, N.A.
Network: Mastercard
Card type: Credit card
Annual fee: $395 for the primary card; no additional employee-card fee, but employee lounge access costs extra
Foreign transaction fee: None
Purchases earn Capital One Miles, which you can redeem against eligible travel purchases, use to book travel, or transfer to eligible airline and hotel partners. Miles do not expire while the account remains open, but you may lose unredeemed miles when you close it. All amounts below are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
Welcome offer
【October 20, 2026 update】 Limited-time offer: 300,000 bonus miles plus a $1,000 Capital One Business Travel credit:
- Spend $40,000 in the first 4 months after opening the account to earn 150,000 bonus miles.
- Reach $120,000 in total spending during those same first 4 months to earn another 150,000 bonus miles, for up to 300,000 miles in total, plus a one-time $1,000 Capital One Business Travel credit. The second threshold is $120,000 in cumulative spending, rather than an additional $120,000.
- Bonus miles post to your rewards account within two billing cycles after you qualify. The $1,000 credit is also issued within two billing cycles of qualifying and expires 16 months after account opening.
- The $1,000 credit can only be used at checkout through Capital One Business Travel, either all at once or across several bookings. Credit-funded amounts do not earn miles. If you cancel a booking, only unexpired credit is restored. Your account must be open and in good standing to receive and use the credit.
- Start your application from the official product page below. The offer may change if you leave or close that page, and existing or former Capital One Business cardholders may not qualify. The regular $300 annual travel credit is a separate ongoing benefit and is not part of this welcome bonus.

Benefits & insurance
- $300 Annual Capital One Business Travel Credit
Receive a $300 portal credit each cardmember year, usable only at checkout through Capital One Business Travel. You can split it across purchases. It expires at 11:59 p.m. ET on the day before your next account anniversary and does not roll over. Cancelling a booking restores only unexpired credit, and credit-funded amounts do not earn miles. Your account must remain in good standing.
- Anniversary Bonus Miles
Earn 10,000 bonus miles each year, starting on your first account anniversary. This is an ongoing cardmember benefit and does not require another welcome-offer spending task.
- Capital One Lounges
Primary cardholders enter free. Once your account reaches $75,000 in net purchases in a calendar year, you can bring two complimentary guests per visit. Guest access remains valid for the qualifying calendar year, the following calendar year, and through January 31 of the year after that. Without this spending qualification, guests aged 18 or older pay $45 per visit, guests aged 2–17 pay $25, and children under 2 enter free. You generally need a boarding pass with a confirmed seat for a same-day departing or connecting flight. Departing passengers can enter within 3 hours of departure, subject to capacity.
- Capital One Landings
Primary cardholders have complimentary access. Reaching $75,000 in net account purchases in a calendar year also unlocks complimentary guest access, but only for one guest per visit. The qualification period, guest pricing without the spending qualification, and boarding-pass requirements are the same as for Capital One Lounges. Reservations through your account are available at some locations.
- Priority Pass Membership
Enrol separately after activating your card. Primary cardholders can bring two complimentary guests per visit; additional guests cost $35 each. This business-card benefit does not require $75,000 in spending first. Lounges may still limit admission based on capacity, and you need your Priority Pass credential and same-day travel documentation.

- Free Employee Cards
Add up to 99 additional cardholders and set employee spending limits. Miles earned on employee purchases go to the primary account. Free employee cards do not include lounge access.
- Additional Cardholder Lounge Access
The primary cardholder or account manager can purchase lounge access for up to four eligible additional cardholders at $125 per person per year, with automatic annual renewal. Users must be at least 18, have a verifiable SSN, and be eligible to set up an online account. Paid access includes Capital One Lounges, Landings and, after enrolment, Priority Pass. Complimentary Capital One guests still depend on the account reaching $75,000 in annual spending; Priority Pass permits two complimentary guests.
- Global Entry or TSA PreCheck Application Fee Statement Credit
Receive up to $120 once per account every 4 years, applied to the first eligible application fee that posts. Pay directly with this card; PayPal payments do not qualify, and TSA PreCheck fees must go to an official enrolment provider. The credit generally posts within two billing cycles and is reversed if the eligible transaction is refunded or cancelled.
- Premier Collection Hotels
Eligible hotels booked through Capital One Business Travel offer an experience credit of up to $100 per room per stay, daily breakfast for two and Wi-Fi. Room upgrades, early check-in and late checkout depend on availability. Charge eligible experiences to your room; the hotel determines which experiences qualify, and some properties require a minimum stay. Book in the eligible cardholder’s name, with that cardholder travelling. The credit cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Lifestyle Collection Hotels
Eligible hotels provide an experience credit of up to $50 per room per stay, Wi-Fi, and availability-based upgrades, early check-in and late checkout. Book through Capital One Business Travel with the cardholder travelling. The hotel sets eligible experiences, minimum-stay conditions and room-charge requirements. Daily breakfast for two is not a promised benefit of this collection.
- Premier Collection Vacation Rentals
Eligible bookings include an experience credit of up to $100, Wi-Fi, and availability-based early check-in and late checkout. Book experiences with a Capital One credit card. Options come from the property provider, and some properties issue the credit as a gift card. Book through Capital One Business Travel with the cardholder travelling. Consecutive bookings at the same property within 24 hours count as one reservation and do not receive duplicate benefits.
- Lifestyle Collection Vacation Rentals
Eligible bookings include Wi-Fi and availability-based early check-in and late checkout. Book through Capital One Business Travel in the eligible cardholder’s name, with that cardholder travelling. Providers may require a minimum stay, and consecutive bookings at the same property within 24 hours do not receive duplicate benefits.
- Hertz President’s Circle Status
Enrol through the benefits link in your Capital One online account or app. Registering through Hertz’s regular website does not automatically identify your eligibility. Status usually takes effect 24–72 hours after successful enrolment and lets you skip the counter at selected locations. Rental age and eligibility rules still apply, and the status lasts only while the partner benefit remains available.
- Airport Butler Discount
At participating airports, book Meet & Greet services directly with Airport Butler and pay with an eligible Capital One card to receive a $75 discount in the local currency. Cancellations less than 24 hours before service are non-refundable, and changes within 24 hours incur a 25% fee. Service is not available at every airport.
- No Preset Spending Limit
Your purchasing power adjusts with your payment history, spending and credit profile; it is not unlimited. Check your current purchasing power online or by phone.
- Pay Over Time
You can carry part of your balance through Pay Over Time, at a variable APR of 25.99% when checked. Purchases above your Pay Over Time limit must be paid in full each month. If you do not pay the minimum amount due, the late fee is 2.99% of the unpaid portion of that minimum payment.

- MasterRental Insurance Coverage
Sign the rental agreement in your own name, rent primarily for business, and pay the full rental charge with this card and/or points earned on it. The rental must not exceed 31 consecutive days. If a rental discount applies, at least one full day’s rental must be charged to the card. Business rentals receive primary coverage. Payment is limited to the lowest applicable amount among eligible repair costs, depreciated vehicle value, actual cash value, contractual liability and other stated measures. Loss-of-use coverage is capped at $500 per incident; towing to the nearest repair facility may also be covered. There is no third-party liability or bodily injury coverage. Excluded vehicles include trucks, pickups and recreational vehicles; rentals in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, Australia, Italy and New Zealand are excluded. Decline the rental company’s collision damage waiver when coverage is secondary. Intoxicated driving, rental-agreement violations and use for passenger transport for hire are also excluded. Report a claim within 60 days and submit documents within 180 days of the incident.
- Secondary Personal Effects Insurance
Personal property stolen or damaged in the rental vehicle or in a building along the route during an eligible rental trip may be reimbursed after other insurance pays. Coverage is up to $1,000 per person per occurrence and $2,000 per rental period. The same rental-payment, duration and geographic conditions apply. Computers, sporting equipment, money and documents are among the exclusions. Claim with your existing insurer first, notify the administrator within 60 days of the loss, and submit documents within 180 days of the incident.
- MasterAssist Medical Protection
Eligible US-resident cardholders travelling at least 100 miles from home have up to $2,500 per person for emergency medical or dental treatment, secondary to other medical insurance, with a $50 deductible per person per trip. Emergency illness treatment is further limited to $500 per day. The 100-mile requirement does not apply to New York mailing addresses. Coverage ends on return to your home city or at midnight on day 60 of the trip, whichever is earlier; a trip extended by a covered illness or injury may qualify for coverage through 48 hours after returning home. Exclusions include non-emergency care, normal pregnancy and childbirth, paid-entry athletic events, mountain climbing and war. Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Cambodia, Laos, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and other destinations deemed unsafe are excluded. Contact the Assistance Center first and report a claim within 60 days after completing treatment, with supporting documents.
- MasterAssist Medical Transportation
Covered circumstances may qualify for transport to an appropriate medical facility or home, with approval from both the attending physician and the Assistance Center. Expenses incurred without prior approval are not reimbursed. Related travel and repatriation costs share a $10,000 limit per covered trip, excluding shipment of remains. MasterAssist’s residence, distance, 60-day coverage period and geographic restrictions apply. Contact the Assistance Center to file a claim within 60 days after treatment ends.
- MasterAssist Dependent Children Return
If a covered hospitalization is expected to last 8 days or more, the Assistance Center can arrange and pay for accompanying dependent children to return home. Prior approval is required. MasterAssist conditions and the shared $10,000 travel-expense limit per trip apply. Report the claim within 60 days after treatment ends.
- MasterAssist Hospital Visit Transportation
If you are travelling alone and hospitalized outside the United States for more than 8 days, the Assistance Center can arrange and pay for a relative or friend to visit on a round-trip economy ticket. Prior approval is required, and MasterAssist eligibility conditions and the shared $10,000 travel-expense limit per trip apply. Report the claim within 60 days after treatment ends.
- MasterAssist Hotel Recuperation
If you need to recover in a hotel after a covered hospitalization, the benefit can reimburse up to $75 per day for a maximum of 5 days. Obtain prior approval from the Assistance Center. MasterAssist conditions apply, and related travel expenses are subject to the shared $10,000 limit per trip. Report the claim within 60 days after treatment ends.
- MasterAssist Repatriation of Remains
If you die during a covered trip, the Assistance Center can arrange and pay for your remains to be sent home. Shipment of remains does not count toward the $10,000 travel and repatriation limit above. Contact the Assistance Center in advance. MasterAssist’s covered-trip, geographic and exclusion conditions apply; submit claim documents as the centre instructs.
- MasterAssist Emergency Return Home
If an immediate relative dies at home while you are travelling abroad, the Assistance Center can arrange and pay for your return to the United States. Prior approval is required; you cannot buy a ticket independently and expect reimbursement. MasterAssist conditions apply, and the transport shares the $10,000 per-trip limit with other covered travel expenses.
- Lost or Damaged Luggage
Pay the full common-carrier fare with this card and/or its points. Covered losses to checked or carry-on baggage are reimbursed up to $1,500 per incident, with at most two claims per 12 months, after the carrier and other insurance pay. Baggage must be missing for 10 consecutive days to qualify as lost. Exclusions include electronics, jewellery, money, documents and regularly scheduled short-distance travel under 100 miles. A loss completely denied by the carrier is also excluded. Coverage starts when the carrier takes the bag or you carry it aboard, and ends when you regain possession, carry it off, or 24 hours after leaving the carrier, whichever comes first. Notify the carrier within 24 hours and the administrator within 60 days; submit documents within 180 days of the incident.
- Worldwide Automatic Travel Accident Insurance
Charge the full fare to the card, less redeemable certificates, vouchers or coupons permitted by the terms. Accidental death or specified serious injuries while riding, boarding or exiting an eligible common carrier are covered up to $1,000,000; certain injuries receive one-half or one-quarter of that amount. The loss must occur within one year of the accident. Multiple accidental deaths from one accident on the same account are capped at twice the death benefit. Illness, regular commuting, self-inflicted injury and war are among the exclusions; this is not general medical insurance. Written notice is generally due within 20 days of the loss, with proof within 90 days, subject to the guide’s extensions when there is a reasonable cause for delay.
- Rideshare Protection
Eligible US citizens or legal residents must pay their entire share of the fare with the card. Personal property permanently lost or stolen in an approved rideshare vehicle is covered up to $750 per trip, with a $100 deductible per claim, at most two claims and $1,500 total per 12 months. Reimbursement is the lowest of purchase price, depreciated cash value and replacement cost, after other insurance pays. Damage alone, unauthorized operators, money, documents, jewellery and items used to sell or promote goods or services are among the exclusions. Notify the platform within 24 hours and the administrator within 60 days, provide written notice within 120 days, and submit supporting documents within 180 days.
- Baggage Delay Reimbursement
Pay part or all of the eligible trip cost with this card and/or its points. If checked baggage is delayed more than 4 hours after arrival at a destination away from your permanent home, essential purchases may be reimbursed up to $100 per covered person per day for 3 days, or $300 total. Coverage can extend to a spouse and eligible dependent children whose trip is paid with the card: children under 18, or full-time university students under 25. Other reimbursements pay first. Business items, phones, cameras and electronics are among the exclusions. Notify the carrier immediately, the administrator within 20 days, and submit the claim form and receipts within 90 days.
- Common Carrier Trip Cancellation
Pay the full eligible round-trip common-carrier fare with the card, or combine it with card points, airline-program certificates and discounts as permitted by the terms. The trip must not exceed 365 days. If a covered injury, illness or death affecting you, a travelling companion or a relevant family member prevents travel, non-refundable carrier charges may be reimbursed. Cancellation and interruption share a limit of $1,500 per trip and $5,000 per account per 12 months. Coverage applies to eligible US citizens or legal residents of the United States and its territories. One-way travel with no return destination, pre-existing conditions and war are among the exclusions. Notify the carrier immediately if a physician advises cancellation. Report the loss to the administrator within 60 days and submit proof within 180 days.
- Common Carrier Trip Interruption
The payment and eligibility requirements are the same as for trip cancellation above. If a covered injury, illness or death interrupts a trip after departure, coverage may reimburse unused, non-refundable common-carrier charges and eligible additional transport to return to the departure point or resume the trip. Additional fares are subject to limits such as the economy fare by the most direct route. The benefit shares the $1,500-per-trip and $5,000-per-account-per-12-month limits with cancellation coverage; it does not reimburse an entire holiday or all hotel expenses. Pre-existing conditions and one-way travel with no return destination are among the exclusions. Other insurance or carrier benefits pay first. Report the loss within 60 days and submit documents within 180 days.
Shopping insurance
- Purchase Assurance Coverage
Pay in full for a new item with this card and/or its points. Accidental damage or theft within 90 days of purchase may be reimbursed after other insurance pays, based on actual cost, up to $10,000 per loss and $50,000 per account per 12 months. Delivery charges are excluded. Ordinary loss, unattended property, used or refurbished goods, damage or loss in transit, and items for resale, rental, professional or commercial use are excluded. Theft requires a police report. Report the loss within 60 days and submit receipts, statements and supporting documents within 180 days after reporting the claim.
- Extended Warranty Coverage
Pay in full for a new item with this card and/or its points. An original manufacturer or US store-brand warranty of no more than 60 months can be doubled, up to 12 additional months. Repair or replacement cannot exceed the actual amount charged to the card or $10,000, whichever is lower. An optional service contract lasting no more than 12 months may allow coverage to begin after that contract ends; a longer optional contract makes the benefit inapplicable. Exclusions include normal wear, cosmetic or accidental damage, lack of required maintenance, vehicles and software. The original warranty’s exclusions still apply. Report the failure within 60 days and submit warranty and repair documents within 180 days.
- Cellular Wireless Telephone Protection
Pay the eligible monthly phone bill with this card. Coverage begins on the first day of the next month and includes eligible phones on the bill’s primary and additional lines. If you do not pay a month’s bill with the card, coverage is suspended the following month and resumes in the month after card payment restarts. Theft or covered damage is reimbursed up to $800 per claim, with at most two claims and $1,000 total per card per 12 months. Each claim has a $50 deductible, and other insurance pays first. Exclusions include ordinary loss, prepaid-plan phones, borrowed phones and cosmetic damage that does not affect calling. Report theft to the police within 48 hours. Notify the administrator within 90 days of the loss, or as soon as reasonably possible, and submit written proof within 120 days.
- Price Protection
Buy an eligible item in the United States, paying part or all of the price with this card and/or its points. If an authorized US retailer advertises the identical brand and model for less within 60 days, the difference may be reimbursed up to $500 per item and $2,500 per year, limited to the amount paid with the card. Store price guarantees pay first. Used or refurbished goods, jewellery, limited-quantity or clearance sales, and purchases for resale, professional or commercial use are excluded; taxes and shipping do not count. Notify the administrator within 10 days of seeing the advertisement and submit the advertisement, original receipt and statement within 20 days of contacting the administrator.
