Everyday Spending

Up to 4x: Eligible travel earns 1 Scene+ point per dollar, plus 3 additional points per dollar on hotels and rental cars booked through Scene+ Travel, Powered by Expedia.

3x: Selected grocery stores, including Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, Foodland, and participating Co-ops.

2x: Dining and other eligible grocery stores.

2x: Entertainment, including movies, theatre, and ticket agencies.

Spend $40,000 in a year to earn 10,000 Scene+ points, then another 2,000 points for each additional $10,000 spent that year.

Travel Insurance

  • Emergency Medical Insurance: up to 25 consecutive days for eligible travellers under 65 and three days for travellers 65 or older.
  • Trip Cancellation: up to $1,500 per person and $10,000 per trip when at least 75% of the trip is charged to the card.
  • Trip Interruption: up to $2,500 per person and $10,000 per trip under the same payment condition.
  • Flight Delay: eligible reasonable expenses up to $500 per insured person after a delay or missed connection of four hours or more, with at least 75% of the ticket charged to the card.
  • Delayed and Lost Baggage: lost baggage coverage up to $1,000 combined.
  • Rental Car Collision/Loss Damage: full rental cost charged to the card, rental no longer than 48 days, and vehicle value no more than $65,000.
  • Hotel/Motel Burglary: up to $1,000 for covered personal property stolen from a broken-into room.
  • Travel Accident: up to $500,000 per person and $1,000,000 per occurrence when at least 75% of the fare is charged to the card.

Purchase Insurance

Purchase Security and Extended Warranty Protection covers eligible items charged in full for 90 days and can double the manufacturer’s warranty for up to one year. The lifetime maximum liability is $60,000; see the insurance terms for registration and exclusions.
