Plaza Premium operates several airport lounges at Vancouver International Airport. Its official location page lists:
- Domestic departures (after security in area B, go down three levels of stairs and it is on the left) ➡️ covered in this post
- Domestic departures (area C; open-air, noisy, with limited seating, food, and drinks)
- U.S. departures (not very large, relatively crowded, with a limited food and drink selection)
- International departures (temporarily an open-air lounge; it is unclear when the previous lounge’s renovation will finish)
Plaza Premium Lounge (Domestic Departures)
I have visited this lounge many times, usually in the evening or at night. This time I came in the morning and found the breakfast decent: a very basic standard Western breakfast, about the level of free breakfast at an economy sub-brand hotel. It is worth recording.
Location
The simple YVR map below shows that the lounge is immediately after domestic-departures security, near gate B15.

Food and drinks
- Breakfast was very standard: bread, fried eggs, sausages, fried potatoes, and oatmeal.

- I had taken a few photos of previous lunches and dinners. They were decent. If you are not especially particular about food and drinks, the lounge can easily save you the cost of one airport meal.
