The partnership

According to the Flying Blue website and the Etihad website, the two airlines signed a memorandum of understanding in September 2023 and have now formally launched their partnership: you can earn each program’s miles when flying, and each program can redeem for the other airline’s flights.

Flying Blue is one of the more accessible frequent-flyer programs for Canadians, and we have an introduction here. Its partnership with Etihad Airways is great news: this Middle Eastern carrier is well worth trying. Here are a few cabin photos from the official site.
