Everyday Spending

5x: The activated quarterly bonus categories on the first $1,500 in combined eligible spending each quarter; spending above $1,500 earns 1%, with no cap. The July–September 2026 categories are gas stations, public transit, EV charging, select live entertainment, and United Way. 5x: Travel purchased through Chase Travel. Chase states this is the total earn rate, including the 1% base rate and an additional 4%.

3x: Drugstore purchases. Chase states this is the total earn rate, including the 1% base rate and an additional 2%.

1x: Other eligible purchases, as well as spending above the $1,500 quarterly bonus-category cap. Merchant categories are assigned by the merchant or its payment processor under Visa/Mastercard rules. Transactions submitted through third-party payment accounts, mobile card readers, or digital wallets likewise do not qualify when they are not processed in the applicable category.

  • Auto Rental Coverage

Coverage applies when you charge the entire rental to this card and/or redeemable rewards, rent as the primary renter, and decline the rental agency’s CDW/LDW. It covers theft or collision worldwide up to $60,000, including substantiated loss of use, administrative fees, and reasonable towing; rentals may not exceed 31 consecutive days. In the United States, it is secondary when other auto insurance exists, but can cover that policy’s deductible; outside the United States, it is primary where available. Injury, third-party liability, personal property, diminution in value, high-value/exotic vehicles, and rentals over 31 days are excluded. Report theft or an accident as soon as possible and within 100 days, then submit documents within 365 days.

  • Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance

When all or part of a trip is charged to this card and/or redeemable rewards, the cardmember and eligible immediate family members are covered up to $1,500 per covered traveller and $6,000 per trip, no more than the amount actually paid with the card or rewards. It covers prepaid, non-refundable common-carrier expenses caused by a covered reason; trips may be no longer than 60 days, and coverage is secondary. Death, accidental injury or illness, severe weather, designated storm warnings, certain strikes, and military orders may qualify; a simple change of plans, pre-existing conditions, pandemic-related border closures or carrier changes, and travel booked for medical treatment do not. Report a cancellation or interruption within 20 days and submit documents within 90 days.

  • Travel and Emergency Assistance

While travelling away from home, you can receive 24/7 referrals or arrangements for medical, legal, emergency transportation, emergency messages, ticket replacement, luggage location, translation, prescriptions and important-document delivery, and pre-trip information. This is not insurance: the cardmember pays for medical, legal, transportation, cash-advance, goods, and other service costs.
