Everyday earning
1.5x: In each calendar quarter, CAD 20,000 in eligible purchases earns 10,000 extra Membership Rewards® points. Against that CAD 20,000, the extra points are equivalent to 0.5x, which with the 1x base rate is 1.5x in total. You can earn the bonus once per quarter, up to 40,000 extra points a year. Spend below the threshold earns only the base rate.
1x: Virtually every eligible purchase earns 1 Membership Rewards® point per CAD 1. There is no published cap on base points. Interest, annual and other fees and cash-equivalent transactions do not earn. Refunds and credits reduce points. Points go to the Basic Cardmember.
