American Airlines’ AAdvantage Business program is running a limited-time account-opening promotion: register a new business account with promo code GET15K and receive 15,000 bonus miles.

Promotion at a glance

  • Reward: 15,000 AAdvantage bonus miles
  • Registration code: GET15K
  • Deadline: October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT)
  • Who qualifies: New AAdvantage Business accounts only; one reward per business
  • When the miles arrive: 6–8 weeks after the promotion ends, or roughly mid-to-late December 2026

Key terms

  • Registration must be completed by the person responsible for the company’s travel program. Business travellers can pass the offer along to their travel team.
  • These are bonus miles. They do not count toward AAdvantage elite status or Million Miler status.
  • The offer cannot be combined with another AAdvantage Business account-opening promotion. You can use only one promo code per registration.

Important: there is a hard gate before you can use these miles

This is the point worth flagging. Under the official terms, the business must meet the program’s activity requirement before it can use or transfer miles to employees—including these 15,000 promotional miles: at least five active travellers in one calendar year, with those travellers generating $5,000 in qualifying travel spend.

There is one exemption. According to an official AA news release, Citi / AAdvantage Business World Elite Mastercard cardmembers have both the spend and redemption requirements waived: “Spend and redemption requirements are waived for Citi® / AAdvantage® Business™ World Elite Mastercard® cardmembers.”

In other words:

  • Businesses with substantial travel volume (five travellers plus $5,000 is easy to reach) → the miles can be used as soon as they arrive.
  • Small businesses or sole proprietors that do not meet the threshold → the card can waive the requirement; otherwise, the miles may arrive but remain unusable.

Background

The comparable account-opening promotion around the same period previously offered 10,000 miles with the old code BNS10K. This one has increased the reward to 15,000 miles, based on the current AA website.
